When folks ask what got me into this art, the answer is Hecubus. This is where it all started. With his eyes specifically. As I walked through a field I saw a pelvic bone staring up at me from the ground. It looked like a pair of eyes. I picked it up and said “Ok, if these are your eyes, where is your mouth?” I took the pieces back to my house and a few minutes later, I was looking at Hecubus.
